I bought these in the summer when I needed shoes for a wedding. I had been wearing gym shoes with orthotics for so long and never cared for flip flops with the thing between your toes that I was reluctant to buy them. I bought these in a store where they were the best choice for the wedding and my feet (fit best, most comfortable and worked for my plantar fasciitis and achiles tendinitis). They felt strange at first since I was used to a closed gym shoe's all around support, but once I got used to them, they are my favorite shoe! The thing between my toes rubbed a little at first, but it doesn't bother me in the least any more. They are even more comfortable than my gym shoes now! I am asking for a pair of closed toe Orthaheel shoes for Christmas since I can't really wear flip flops in the winter and got an early Christmas gift of a pair of slippers. I have also recommended Orthaheel to a couple of friends who have similar problems. They couldn't believe the cute flip flops I was wearing were orthopedic shoes!

I bought two colors and wore them the entire summer. They allowed me to be on my feet working the entire day without pain. I wish they still had my size in stock. I live in FL and can wear them all year long!

I only hope I can recall where I bought these Carla sandals so I can find more Orthaheel shoes locally! They feel amazing all day long! I can barely find any shoes I can wear at any price, but these feel like that were made for me!
