In brief: This does apply to many of us who over a lifetime have treated our feet to all sorts of unwise uses. Example high heels. After multiple tries to relieve the increasing pain in my feet, I did consult with several doctors. I also bought many different shoes, shoe inserts and gizmos that were suppose to help. X-rays showed multiple problems with both feet, contisone shots did very little to help and the pains returned. I tried Ortho slippers once and they did not help. But decided to try again with a shoe last Summer, it did take a while to adjust, but now I am pleased to say that things are better, much better from where I was a year ago. So I recently order this pair of slip-ons and will be taking them with me when we leave on a trip soon. I do like them, but the thing to consider is that this shoe does run wide. And my feet are far from dainty. Am now a fan of Ortho Heels and will be ordering more products in the future.

I am happy I purchased these, as they are comfortable in every way as I expected them to be. There is no need to break them in, as you do with other brands.
As I own several pairs of Orthaheel shoes, I know I'll be purchasing others as I can walk around all day in these and never have a sore back as a result. -
As a Hairdresser that has had 3 knee surgeries, these shoes are LIFE SAVING! I just wish they had more options in style and colors!

These shoes are absolutely fabulous for my poor feet. I have terribly flat feet and the right one pronoates really bad. I have a lot of pain with that one. These shoes help and prevent the pain, they feel great. I need the black ones, but they are sold out in my size! :(

I have a black pair I wear to work with my slacks and skirts and I really like them. They are comfortable, lightweight and they can still be worn to work. I don't know if I can wear them in the winter because they don't offer protection from the cold, but I enjoy having them.
I was very happy with my purchase. If you are a half size definitely go down a size instead of up they run big and a little wide. I have narrow feet though and they work great.
