The "best step" I ever made was ordering my first pair of Orthaheel sandals a couple of years ago. That first pair saved my life - or at least the "quality" of my life. Walking without pain became possible. Due to an accident, I suffered ankle damage that left me unable to walk barefoot or even in flat shoes. I ordered expensive orthotics and they helped but were hard to fit into my shoes and impossible to wear with sandals. When I found Orthaheel products I knew I had found the only shoes I'd ever wear! One pair led to another, which lead to another...and I'm just getting started!

I was first introduced to Orthaheel because my physical therapist recommended them to all his patients. This is my third pair, and I am still shopping! I don't have any foot or leg problems, but I do have extremely high arches and the flat $5.00 flipflops just don't work. I didn't have any break-in period, but that's probably because they fit my high arches so well. Next, I want to try the walking shoes.

I love my new Carla Sandals!! They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. They are one of the most supportive shoes I have ever worn. I am already browsing other styles so I can buy another pair.

Such a cute sandal. You would never know they are orthotics. I don't wear any other shoes but Orthaheels. They have saved my life!

My only concern as the price keeps going up is that I might not be able to afford them in the future.
