Cute but painful Review by NYCgirl

I got these shoes because I love walking in sandals in the summer but regular flip-flops hurt my feet. These shoes are cute and have great arch support, so I decided to give them a try. Well, they are cute and they do have good arch support, but the positive attributes end there. The straps have caused numerous blisters on the tops of my feet. I thought it was a matter of just breaking them in, but it's been a few months now and I still get them. No amount of adjusting the straps seems to help. Also, don't get them wet! They start to smell and develop a green tinge. I am so disappointed. I had hoped these would last me for a few years, but after only three months, I'm off to the shoe store to find something else.

Best pair of sandals I have ever owned Review by Great Shoe

Overall

I spent about $70 on my "Solana" sandals at a local shoe store, but am overwhelmingly pleased with the shoe. I have walked miles in them and my feet feel more comfortable than when I wear my sneakers. It took about two days for the material to soften and not give me blisters, but once they were broken-in, they are very comfortable. I can see how if one has a slightly wide foot that the straps could be uncomfortable for toes, but I have an "average" foot and have not had a problem.

Excellent sandals! Review by Terri

Overall

This is my first pair of Orthaheel sandals (or shoes for that matter). They are just what my feet need with such excellent arch support. Very soft and cushiony but they still support your feel well. Only complaint is I prefer a leather insole to manmade material. But I like them well enough to try the walkers and other sandals too. Happy feet are a good thing!

Awkward Fit... Review by Teacher With Sore Feet!

Cute shoes, but weird fit. The strap across the toes smashes my pinky toe. They have a very insecure fit. The only positive thing about them was the great arch support.

I would love to try a different style, but when I ordered them online, I was disappointed to see that I had to order based on sizes in such a wide range. (For me that meant picking something from 6.5-7 or 7.5-8). You would think that a shoe company that specializes in shoes for sensitive feet would understand that sizing needs to be far more accurate than that!

I took a leap of faith and ordered the 7.5-8, thinking it'd be better to go big than too small. Well, they arrived, and they're too big. I guess my leap of faith is going to cost me the non-refundable shipping and handling. I'm returning these and going to a more popular shoe website for a more shopper friendly return policy and more accurate sizing.
