I bought these shoes because I had been wearing the same pair of another brand's shoe and they were no longer giving me the support I needed. I find myself wearing these shoes daily, even when I clean my house, because they give such good support and my back doesn't hurt like it did with my old shoes so I'm able to do more and have more energy. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who has knee, hip, or back problems (usually associated with wearing non-supportive shoes). I know their ads say to wear them for a couple of hours a day for the first few wearings but I've worn them all day, everyday, since I got them because they felt so good after wearing another brand's shoes who were doing more harm than good. I would definitely buy other styles from Orthaheel now that I know how great they are!

I bought the black pair hoping they would relieve my heel and back pain....spring break in Vegas = TONS OF WALKING! THEY WERE A LIVE SAVER! Had to buy heel pads but awesome once I put those in. Also bought hair flower clips from Clauses and clipped them on the straps and got tons of compliments! No one knew they were orthotics except my back and feet! Awesome cute little shoe w a little extra pizzas from Clauses accessory store! Definitely recommend them!

I have 17 pairs of Orthaheel shoes. The Arcadia Mary Jane did not disappoint. It is true to my regular shoe size (unlike the sandals, which I order a whole size smaller, and the Walkers which I order a half size smaller). It is a simple enough style to wear with anything, but dressy enough to wear with skirts and dresses for work. Perfect. I waited many months, however, for it to be available in black in my size, so if you see it in the color and size you want, you might be advised to snap it up. As with a couple other closed toe Orthaheel styles I have, I have noticed a slight variation in the fit between the two different color pairs of Mary Janes I purchases, but it is not severe.

Nice shoe but with my high instep the strap was too tight on my foot and I had to send them back.

Let me start by saying that I suffer from plantar fasciitis and have for the past five years. I have tried untold numbers of shoes and inserts in an attempt to get some relief. I cringe at the thought of the hundreds (dare I say thousands) I have spent in my quest. To be honest, I was skeptical when I ordered these shoes, but I thought I'd give it another try. From the moment I put on my Orthaheel Arcadia Mary Janes, I could tell they were different. I can wear these shoes all day and not experience the intense pain and discomfort I do with other shoes. I am not going to lie, on especially long days there is still some level of pain, but nowhere near what it used to be.

I have not worn another shoe since I received my Orthaheels. I am so impressed with Orthaheel I even ordered a pair for my sister who was recently also diagnosed with pf, and I already know which pair of sandals I am going to order for summer use. I highly recommend Orthaheel products for anyone looking for comfort, but especially for foot pain sufferers.

Great fit and style. Usually buy black, but took a chance on the purple. Not disappointed. Normally wear 7 1/2, but find that size 7 fits best.

I have suffered from foot and pain for just about a year. I am a teacher so I am on my feet all day. I also enjoyed walking but needed to stop because my feet were hurting so much. I found this website and decided to try the Arcadia Mary Janes for work. These have been such a blessing for me. I can teach all day and not have any foot pain. Usually when I reached home, the first thing I would do would be to remove my work shoes. These are so comfortable I keep them on until I go to bed. I also just ordered another pair in brown (I have the black) so I can wear them with my brown/tan/beige outfits. I also ordered the walking shoes and I have started to walk again with those as well These shoes are a godsend for me. I am throwing all of my other shoes away. My foot pain and heel pain have truly disappeared. I am such a fan.... try for some more stylish foot gear too. We Babyboomers would appreciate that as we age!

I purchased these for my wife as she has a problem with heel spurs. These are about the only way she can make it through her workday. She is a huge fan. That makes me also a huge fan.

Great little shoe, very comfortable. I wear them to work all the time and have a black and brown pair. My feet don't hurt when I leave work anymore. Wish they would come up with a dressier style.

I was skeptical at first but what a cute shoe! I have gotten so many compliments on them. They are slimmer than some in the past and are really so nice. If you have plantar fasciitus do yourself a favor and buy a pair. They are definitely worth it. I suffered for 10+ years, did custom orthotics, cortisone shots and then I bought a pair of Tide sandals two years ago. They made the difference. I am pain free and loving it! I have several styles of Orthaheel shoes but these are the best! Now I'm eyeing up the Emma bootie for really cold weather. The Action Walkers are great for everyday wear. Worth every penny!
