I own 2 pair of the flip flop style sandals and love them. I have flat feet and ankle pain because of the flat feet. I will be going on a cruise in January 2011. Since, I am unable to wear heels, the SeaTrek sandals would be ideal if footbed was also solid black for a more dressy look. Also, would like to see a smooth black patent leather without the crocodile look.

Good - The idea of orthotic insole is great.
Poor
- Straps are irritating and unable to support/mold the feet to insole.
- Shoe sizes only come in even numbers (5,6,7,8,9), therefore shoes can’t fit perfectly for people with size of 6.5 etc

Wearing my SeaTrek in black croco that arrived today. I love that it looks more professional than the Tiburon and Tide that I have been alternating all summer.

I read the other reviews before I ordered and I agree with other reviewers. I will have to take these to a cobbler, as the heel strap is not a good fit. Where the heel strap is connected to the sole should be shorter as right now it is rubbing against my ankle and walking in it is going to chafe.

I HAVE NOW ORDERED AND TRIED THREE DIFFERENT STYLES OF ORTHAHEEL SHOES. I LOVE THE WAY THEY FEEL ON THE BOTTOM OF MY FEET BUT THE UNDER SIDE OF THE STRAPS ARE IRRITATING. THEY ARE NOT SMOOTH AND THEY SORTA' SCRATCH AND/OR IRRITATE THE TOP OF MY FOOT.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS AS I WOULD LOVE TO WEAR THESE SHOES. I HAVE SEVERE PRONATION AND THEY DO THEIR JOB BEAUTIFULLY BUT I JUST CAN'T WEAR THEM BECAUSE OF THE STRAPS

The arch support given from these shoes is fantastic, however, the straps are too thin and do not support the entire foot. When I put the shoes on and started walking, they just flopped around my heel. I had to return this sandal (Sea Trek) and hope that they come out with a new design with a strap that actually supports the entire foot the heel included. I give the arch support of the shoe five stars, but the heel support two stars. My suggestion would be to have wider straps around the instep with the same wide strap at the heel so that the foot sits snugly to the shoe. Just a suggestion....

The concept of having the orthatic built right into a woman's sandal is a FANTASTIC idea! It has really helped my plantar facitis and eased my heel pain like 95%. I bought the brown croc and love the color. However, I too agee with the review before me... the style(s) need improvement! You only offer 1 style with a back strap which is necessary for most work enviornments for women. You need to offer more designs with a back strap. Also, the strap arrangement on this sandal doesn't hold the sandal onto the foot well, especially if you have a wide foot. It would also be nice if there were adjustable straps that went across the toe area. In addition, whatever the insole is made of it tends to make your feet smell quickly. It would be nice if the top of the insole was like a nubik suade or something where your feet wouldn't sweat so much and your foot wouldn't slide around so much.

Keep designing. The built-in-orthatic is a great idea!

Loved the shoes. One of a few pairs of shoes I can wear without needing orthotics. Usually unable to find pretty sandles for summer wear that do not hurt my feet. Only down side I have is the elastic broke after 6 weeks and had to go and have it replaced.
Need more pretty sandles with slingbacks. I can't stand anything between my toes.

I got a pair of Orthoheel slides a year ago that I used as slippers around the house and they were comfortable but I have a tough time with slides as they just don't stay on my feet well. I got the new Sea Trek and have been able to wear the shoes more as they have a strap around the heel. These reduce the pain in my feet better than my orthotics. They have excellent arch support as well as a heel cup. I also like that they have a bit of give which my orthotics don't. I hope Orthoheel make more styles especially sneakers and styles that are more 'strapped on' to your foot.

I have had to wear orthotics for the past several years. I have not been able to wear sandles for a very long time because my back starts to bother me. These are the first sandles I have been able to wear day after day without my back & hips bothering me.

Only downside I have is that the elastic strap started coming loose after 6 weeks. Had to take them in to the shoe repair to replace the elastic.
